THE CHALLENGE

 Established Regionally.

Built for a Global Future

The program had evolved successfully across multiple regions, with each location developing strong practices, content, and local innovations. However, over time, differences had emerged in program structure, participant experience, measurement, sponsorship, and governance. The challenge was creating alignment across regions and building consensus around a future global model that could retain local strengths while delivering a more consistent participant experience, clearer program outcomes, and a stronger connection to talent strategy.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT

Three Workshops
One Global Conversation.

TMC designed and facilitated a three-workshop global strategy refresh process involving regional leaders, Talent Management, learning specialists, analytics experts, and key stakeholders across multiple time zones and functions. The workshops were intentionally designed to balance strategic thinking with practical implementation.

Workshop 1: Strategy & Foundation

Aligned stakeholders around a shared vision, strategic role, value proposition, capability framework and design principles.

"I really enjoyed designing around capabilities first and then experience."

Workshop 2: Program Design

Defined the participant journey, manager experience, alumni ecosystem, future-state program design and global versus local design considerations.

"Each phase intentionally built upon the previous ones, we really have designed a true developmental journey"

Workshop 3: Sustainability & Implementation

Developed the future measurement framework, executive sponsorship model, governance structure, and implementation roadmap to support long-term success.

"I really liked the way TMC broke it down into different phases. It made it easier to digest and think through."

Throughout the process, TMC used a highly interactive and visual facilitation approach, enabling participants to contribute equally regardless of geography, function, or role.

WHAT IT ACHIEVED

 From Regional Strengths

to a Global Footprint.

The engagement resulted in a shared strategic direction for the program, redesigned experiences across the talent ecosystem, a clearer approach to measurement and impact, and a roadmap to guide future investment and decision-making.

Created Global Alignment around a Shared Future Vision: Brought together stakeholders across five regions, multiple functions and levels of the organisation to align on business and culture outcomes, and a common vision for the future of the program.

Defined the Capability Framework for Early Career Success: Designed a capability-led development model built around seven core capabilities that supports the transition from education into a global technology organisation.

Designed the Manager Experience: Recognised managers as one of the strongest drivers of participant success and designed a future-state manager experience focused on learning transfer, career conversations, visibility and workplace application.

Reimagined Alumni as Culture Carriers: Moved alumni beyond a networking community and repositioned them as a strategic extension of the program. Mentors, advocates, and future leaders who help reinforce the program's values and strengthen the sense of community and belonging.

Created the Foundations for Long-Term Sustainability: Defined the measurement framework, executive sponsorship model, governance structure and operating principles required to sustain and scale the program globally.

Built Ownership and Momentum for Change: Created alignment, engagement, and shared ownership across stakeholders, generating the commitment needed to move from successful regional approaches toward a more connected global program.
